Florida Nursing Home Resident Dies Due to Maggots, Infected Breathing Tube, and Bed Sores

A Delton, Florida man died last month due to horrendous care provided by the University Center West nursing home. Anthony Digiannurio, 82, was transported in November from University Center West to Florida Hospital DeLand where staff members found maggots in one of his eyes, an infected breathing tube, a partially inserted catheter and bed sores.
